Event & Field Marketing Specialist

San Francisco

About the Role

Together AI is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to help execute high-impact events that bring our brand, technology, and community to life.

You'll work closely with our Field Marketing & Events team, primarily supporting major industry conferences and tradeshows, while also contributing to flagship first-party events, experiential activations, and other strategic programs. You'll own key aspects of event planning and execution, from logistics and sponsorships to onsite operations and post-event follow-up.

This is an opportunity for an events marketer ready to take on more ownership, gain experience across different event formats, and learn how exceptional events drive business impact, from brand awareness and community engagement to pipeline generation and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Execute Industry Conferences & Tradeshows

  • Plan and execute key workstreams for major industry conferences and tradeshows, including sponsorship deliverables, booth logistics, vendors, staffing, shipping, and onsite operations.
  • Coordinate customer and prospect meetings, executive engagements, and other activities surrounding conferences.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to align event objectives, timelines, and execution.
  • Support pre-event promotion, lead capture, post-event follow-up, and reporting to maximize event impact.

Support flagship events & experiential programs

  • Help plan and execute Together AI's flagship first-party events, executive programs, and experiential activations.
  • Own assigned event workstreams, coordinating vendors, production, logistics, and onsite execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to deliver thoughtful, memorable experiences that reflect the Together AI brand.

Manage flagship event sponsorships

  • Coordinate sponsorship programs for Together AI's flagship events, including sponsor communications, deliverables, branding, and onsite activations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring commitments are fulfilled and partners have a great experience.
  • Manage sponsorship timelines, trackers, and post-event reporting.

Drive event operations & performance

  • Manage event timelines, budgets, vendors, contracts, invoices, and logistics across assigned programs.
  • Own swag and branded merchandise programs, including sourcing, vendor management, inventory, fulfillment, and distribution across events and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain event documentation, attendee data, project trackers, and operational workflows.
  • Research and evaluate new event and sponsorship opportunities based on audience fit, cost, and business objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to track event performance, including engagement, meetings, leads, and pipeline influence.
  • Identify ways to streamline processes and improve event execution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, conference and tradeshow management, or a related B2B marketing role, ideally in technology.
  • Hands-on experience executing in-person events, including vendor management, logistics, sponsorships, and onsite operations.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working across internal teams and external partners.
  • A proactive, resourceful mindset with strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • An appreciation for thoughtfully executed, high-quality event experiences.
  • An understanding of how events contribute to brand awareness, demand generation, and business growth.
  • Curiosity about AI and experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to improve workflows and efficiency.
  • High agency, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel up to 30–40% based on event schedules, including international travel.
