The Team
The People Team plays a pivotal role in supporting our rapidly growing organization and serving as a strategic partner for a team of 130+ employees. This team manages and optimizes a wide range of functions, including company benefits, compensation, HR systems, and data-driven reporting and analytics. People Operations ensures our workforce is equipped with the resources and insights necessary to thrive and drive organizational success.
The Role
We are currently looking for a People Operations Manager to manage Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits), HR Systems and Tools, and Employee Inquiries. Reporting to the VP, People this person will be a key member of the People team in helping support our employees regarding their benefits, compensation, managing our HR systems and tools, and answering employee questions. The ideal candidate has a combination of exceptional customer service and a passion for working with people, processes, and systems, focusing heavily on total rewards and HR systems and tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute People Operations functions, ensuring efficient processes and a positive employee experience.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee day-to-day HR queries and requests.
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage Carta (equity management system) in partnership with our external law firm.
- Maintain and update employee personnel records and e-filing in Justworks.
- Support our bi-weekly US payroll process in Justworks.
- Manage company benefits programs and advise Tomorrow Health on any benefit queries.
- Support Tomorrow Health with verification of employment letters, as well as custom letter requests.
- Manage our onboarding and offboarding processes for all US based employees.
- Produce HR reports, carry our regular data audits and support HR compliance-related requests.
- Manage immigration work with external counsel.
- Manage leave of absence in partnership with managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a Human Resources/People Operations function, preferably within a mix of tech start-up and large company environments.
- Experience designing and implementing employee benefits plans and total compensation packages.
- High-level technical knowledge of HRIS systems and software implementation (Justworks, Carta, Greenhouse), with the ability to create and manage HR dashboards and reporting.
- A successful track record of supporting high volume HR processes, personnel management and change management.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environment.
- Team player with a sense of ownership and get things done attitude - self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment.
- Able to combine great people's intuition, business judgment and discretion in your decision-making.Oversee and execute People Operations functions, ensuring efficient processes and a positive employee experience.
- Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices.

Salary range for this position: $110,000 to $130,000/yr, depending on experience and qualifications, plus equity
