The CNS pipeline features both small molecules and biologics to treat pain, neurologic, psychiatric, and addiction conditions. The immunology portfolio includes biologics to address organ transplant rejection, autoimmunity, and cancer. The infectious disease pipeline includes a vaccine in development to prevent smallpox and monkeypox, which also serves as a live virus vaccine platform for other infectious diseases. Finally, the rare disease portfolio includes a product in development for Prader-Willi syndrome, which has both orphan drug designation and rare pediatric disease designation grants from the FDA.

Position Overview
The Associate Director, Brand Marketing will help lead the development and commercialization of key tactics across fibromyalgia and migraine assets. This individual will be responsible for developing tactics across both HCP and Consumer/Patient audiences that are aligned to strategy across personal promotion, non-personal promotion, digital media, communications/PR, and other channels. This will be a highly visible role with the expectation to be able to work independently as well as cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders including field sales, medical affairs, commercial strategy/operations, market access, and the Promotional Review Committee (PRC). The ideal candidate should feel at home in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position requires excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills. This position will report directly to the Director, Brand Marketing and will be based at the Berkeley Heights, NJ office.
Essential Duties
- Maintain detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace
- Manage a team of agency partners to ensure tactics are delivered on-strategy, on-time, and on-budget
- Work with full marketing team to support commercialization efforts and help think through how to do ordinary things in extraordinary ways
Necessary Skills and Abilities
- Track record of successfully achieving business goals
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of marketing business processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
- Experience working with field-based sales force and market access issues and trends
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Business/Marketing or related disciplines
- Master's Degree (MBA) preferred
- 7+ years of Pharmaceutical or Biotech Marketing experience
- Experience working with or within advertising agencies of record
- Experience with recent product/indication launch
- Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred
- CNS, Primary care, rheumatology, and/or pain specialty experience preferred
Salary Range
$130,000 - $200,000 USD
