The CNS pipeline features both small molecules and biologics to treat pain, neurologic, psychiatric, and addiction conditions. The immunology portfolio includes biologics to address organ transplant rejection, autoimmunity, and cancer. The infectious disease pipeline includes a vaccine in development to prevent smallpox and monkeypox, which also serves as a live virus vaccine platform for other infectious diseases. Finally, the rare disease portfolio includes a product in development for Prader-Willi syndrome, which has both orphan drug designation and rare pediatric disease designation grants from the FDA.

Position Overview
The Manager, Field Enablement and Operations will report to the Director of Commercial Strategy and play a pivotal role in driving the operational efficiency and effectiveness for field sales and the Commercial Strategy and Operations team. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to optimize commercial operations and field processes, enhance performance, and support the seamless execution of commercial and marketing initiatives. The role is responsible for supporting daily operational workflows, enabling field teams through tools, training, and resources, and ensuring consistent, efficient execution across the organization. Ultimately, this position will help ensure that field sales and commercial operations are streamlined, scalable, and capable of delivering measurable results aligned to overall commercial objectives.
Essential Duties
Field Enablement
- Support effective adoption of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform across the field team, including tool proficiency, enhancement rollouts, troubleshooting, and escalation management
- Manage inventory for the marketing materials ordering portal to align with field demand, new marketing collateral, and national and regional field meetings; oversight to ensure all materials are managed in accordance to promotional compliance
- Oversee the repository for field training direction memos and backgrounders to reinforce training initiatives and marketing updates
- Support the execution and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to drive consistent field engagement
Operations
- Maintain commercial operations tools to support planning, project management, and tracking
- Support training efforts to operationalize new hire onboarding, as well as regional and national meetings
- Support internal processes and external vendor management related to the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process
- Maintain a strong focus on meeting management and operational hygiene to optimize effectiveness within Commercial Strategy and cross-functional teams
- Monitor tool and program data and tailor operational support to maximize adoption and utilization
- Support and manage budget and strategic planning cycles, including budget tracking, Statement of Work (SOW) processing, and vendor onboarding
Necessary Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience supporting field sales teams, including CRM adoption, tool enablement, training support, and operational execution
- Strong understanding of commercial workflows, including Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review processes and compliant marketing execution
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and Statements of Work (SOWs), including vendor onboarding
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and operational rigor
- Data-driven mindset with experience monitoring tool usage, program performance, and adoption metrics to inform optimization
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- High level of proficiency with CRM platforms, commercial operations tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment
- Ability to travel 20%
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, field enablement, marketing operations, or sales support within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
- Experience in program management, operations, or a similar role.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $150,000 USD
