
Key Account Manager

Founded in 2015 in Denmark, we are now active in 19 countries. In 2018, we launched in the Netherlands, and our Dutch team has grown to over 60 ‘Waste Warriors’. With more than 4 million app downloads and around 12,000 partners in the Netherlands, we are making strides toward our goal: a world without food waste. In 2024, we were even named the most inspiring organization in the Netherlands for the fifth year in a row!
📲 You probably know us from our app, where we offer surplus food and drinks from supermarkets, restaurants, suppliers, cafés, bakeries, hotels, and specialty stores to our users. Globally, we have already saved over 430 million meals, preventing more than 1 million tons of CO2e emissions—a massive impact!
Your Mission
As a Key Account Manager Retail, you play a crucial role in the growth of Too Good To Go Netherlands and the fight against food waste. You will use your expertise in retail and account management to build strong relationships and develop new growth initiatives with our partners.
We constantly strive to increase our value to partners, not just through our current solutions but also with new SaaS innovations.
You will report to the Key Account Retail Lead and be supported by a Key Account Executive. You will manage a portfolio of large and mid-sized partners, from headquarters to store level. You are excited about optimizing partnerships, improving the in-store experience, and saving as much food from waste as possible.
You thrive on planning and execution, and you enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders at different levels. Your mission is to create more impact!
Your Role
- Full ownership of your client portfolio: from in-store execution and training to analyzing KPIs and sales data.
- Translate operational store knowledge into strategic discussions at partner headquarters.
- Build and strengthen relationships with partners, from C-level executives to store managers.
- Proactively visit stores and understand their challenges better than anyone else.
- Develop business cases and annual plans, translating them into actions that help partners grow and reduce waste.
- Take a data-driven approach to launching new initiatives.
- Monitor progress against KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.
- Support partners in working effectively with Too Good To Go, including making calls, providing training, onboarding new stores, and improving processes.
- Share best practices with the team to continuously improve our approach.
- Collaborate with our Growth and Sales teams to drive store engagement and onboard new partners.
