Your mission:

The France People & Culture Consultant is a key support for our employees and managers, serving as the first point of contact for a wide range of France People & Culture (P&C) requests. This role ensures the smooth, compliant, and efficient delivery of core HR services for France.

As a trusted partner, this individual handles day-to-day HR administration and inquiries, ensuring all local policies and procedures are aligned with global standards, legally compliant, and clearly communicated. They are a dedicated advocate for our team members who drive operational excellence, support data-driven decisions, and manage critical projects.

The People & Culture Consultant will report to the People Operations Cluster Lead for the Cluster South. This is a fixed-term contract until the 31st of December, working 3-4 days per week.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Employee Relations Case Management

Manage a portfolio of employee relations cases, including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace investigations.

  • Provide practical, compliant guidance to managers on handling ER matters in line with French labour law.
  • Ensure all cases are handled consistently, fairly, and with appropriate documentation.

Work Council Engagement

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and work council representatives on employee matters where consultation is required.
  • Prepare and support work council discussions and documentation in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Act as an advisor to the business on best practices for work council interactions.

Senior Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with senior leaders and managers to provide clear, pragmatic advice on people issues.
  • Help leaders navigate complex situations with confidence while balancing legal, cultural, and business considerations.

Capability Building within the People Team

  • Support the development of the existing People team by sharing best practices in ER management and work council engagement.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and practical frameworks to help strengthen the team’s ER capabilities.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong experience managing employee relations cases within France.
  • Solid understanding of French labour law and work council processes.
  • Experience partnering with employment counsel on complex ER matters.
  • Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
  • Comfortable working in a hands on, advisory role within a fast-paced environment.
