What is this role like?

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Topsort, you won’t just fill roles - you’ll help build the team shaping the future of adtech. You’ll partner directly with our founders and team leads to design, test, and refine how we attract exceptional people who thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments. From crafting founder-level outreach to building scalable hiring systems, you’ll turn ambiguity into structure and ensure every candidate interaction reflects our culture of curiosity, speed, and deep thinking. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to hiring, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
  • Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to understand each role and find the right talent fit.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels and maintain an active pipeline of strong prospects.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, keeping communication clear and timely with candidates and the team.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and share structured feedback with hiring teams.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience at every stage.
  • Use recruiting data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and make hiring more effective.
  • Support operations: Assist with office scheduling, interviews and other necessary admin tasks.
  • People Care Experience: Plan events, training, and workshops. Partner with the People team in rolling out new People programs, processes, and technology, Create training materials and content, partner closely with the People team in launching and communicating learning workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from a strong academic institution (e.g., Ivy League, Oxbridge, or other leading global business/engineering schools).
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting. 
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Experienced with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software, we use Greenhouse and Rippling at Topsort.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to work onsite at our Somerville office 4 days per week.
