What is this role like?
A GTM Engineer at Topsort builds the systems that drive revenue — not dashboards or one-off campaigns, but scalable, automated engines across the entire customer journey. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Data, you turn strategy into execution systems that consistently generate pipeline and accelerate revenue. This isn’t RevOps or growth marketing — it’s a builder role for someone who understands how revenue actually happens and can design, automate, and scale it.
You will:
Build the revenue engine
- Design and ship automated GTM workflows (outbound, inbound, routing, enrichment, follow-ups)
- Turn manual processes into scalable systems powered by AI and automation
- Architect how leads move from signal → pipeline → revenue
Own data + systems across GTM
- Build and maintain data pipelines (enrichment, segmentation, scoring)
- Ensure CRM, analytics, and GTM tools are clean, connected, and actionable
- Create systems that trigger real actions, not just reporting
Drive pipeline and conversion
- Launch and iterate programmatic outbound / ABM campaigns
- Use signals (intent, behavior, product usage) to trigger high-conversion workflows
- Continuously optimize funnel performance end-to-end
Work cross-functionally (and deeply)
- Partner with Sales, CS, and Marketing to identify bottlenecks
- Translate business problems into technical systems and workflows
- Bring product feedback from GTM back into the product loop
Experiment and move fast
- Run rapid experiments on ICPs, messaging, channels
- Ship → measure → iterate weekly
- Build systems that scale 10x, not just solve today
What we are looking for:
- 2–6 years of experience in a technical, growth, or revenue-adjacent role (growth, RevOps, data, solutions, etc.)
- Strong systems thinking — able to connect sales, marketing, product, and data into one cohesive engine
- Outcome-driven — focused on pipeline, conversion, and revenue, not just activity
- Comfortable with tools and data:
- APIs / integrations
- SQL or data workflows
- Automation tools (Clay, Zapier, Make, etc.)
- CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Able to design and build workflows across the GTM stack
- Bonus: light scripting (Python or JavaScript)
- Strong commercial instinct — understands how revenue is generated and thinks like a seller
- Builder mindset — defines problems, ships solutions, and moves fast without waiting for perfect specs
- Optimizes for leverage — replaces manual work with scalable systems
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Motivated to build systems that scale revenue, not just support it
