The Manager of Treasury Management is responsible for overseeing the company’s cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and risk management. This role ensures efficient financial operations by managing funds and optimizing working capital.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Operations & Cash Management

  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Establish and maintain adequate reserves.
  • Oversee cash forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and investment of surplus funds.
  • Manage payments, transfers, and reconciliations of company funds.
  • Manage research analyst fees and payout processing, including oversight of process and employees (domestic and offshore resources).

Banking & Financial Relationships

  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for treasury services.
  • Negotiate banking terms and ensure compliance with financial agreements.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Monitor market, liquidity, and operational risks related to the company’s treasury functions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Implement fraud prevention measures and cybersecurity protocols for financial transactions.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, risk assessments, and financial performance summaries.
  • Conduct variance analysis on actual vs. projected financials.
  • Provide insights to management on improving treasury efficiency and cost reductions.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Optimize treasury management systems and software used for financial tracking.
  • Automate reconciliation and reporting processes where possible.
  • Develop and enforce treasury policies and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain payout processing tools.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking environments is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems, ERP software, and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills 

  • Certification in Treasury Management (CTP) or CFA Level 1.
  • Experience with virtual trading platforms and financial simulations.
  • Knowledge of fintech innovations in treasury management.

New Hire Base Salary Range

  • $100,000-125,000.
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
  • The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
