Summary
We are seeking a tech-savvy and highly organized HR Generalist with a focus on HRIS systems to support and optimize our HR technology infrastructure while managing core HR functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency, and a positive employee experience across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (such as Paylocity, Workday, or similar), strong communication skills, and the ability to manage both systems and people processes. They will also serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and play a key role in maintaining compliant and effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities 

HRIS Administration & Process Optimization

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the company’s HRIS platform, ensuring system accuracy, access controls, and data integrity.
  • Maintain employee lifecycle data, including new hires, terminations, role changes, and reporting structures.
  • Conduct regular audits of employee records to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT, Payroll, and vendors to manage system integrations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Generate and analyze reports on headcount, compliance, and key HR metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and support the implementation of system enhancements or automation.

Employee Support & Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and professional support.
  • Manage and respond to the People inbox, ensuring questions are routed, tracked, and resolved efficiently.
  • Support employee relations matters with discretion and assist in conflict resolution where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace expectations.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Assist in developing and implementing performance review processes and documentation.
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee questions related to benefits plans and eligibility.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with current labor laws and internal practices.
  • Maintain organized and compliant HR records, and assist with HR audits as needed.
  • Support ongoing HR projects such as policy updates, handbooks, and internal communications.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Associate's or Bachelor's and/or: PHR certification; SHRM-CP;  aPHR.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years managing HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, ADP, UKG).
  • Demonstrated experience handling employee inquiries and maintaining professional confidentiality.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies, labor law compliance, and core HR operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms) or Microsoft O.

Preferred Skills

  • Resourcefulness - the ability to find quick and creative ways to overcome difficulties.
  • Paylocity and Employee of Records software.
  • Basic understanding of Google Suites  - Include Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Forms.

New Hire Base Salary Range

  • $65,000-$75,000
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
  • The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
