Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts and prototypes into fully functional web experiences by use of clean, responsive, and accessible front-end code
  • Build and optimize high-impact landing pages and web/WordPress components to support creative & marketing goals
  • Implement SEO enhancements, as defined by marketing and SEO leads— including technical updates (schema, metadata) and on-page content refinements
  • Configure event tracking and tags in Google Tag Manager and GA4, and clearly communicate tracking needs across teams
  • Audit and improve site performance, content quality, and mobile responsiveness using tools like Lighthouse
  • Translate Figma prototypes into clean, responsive, and accessible production-ready code
  • Deploy A/B test variants to support data-informed optimization efforts
  • Troubleshoot front-end bugs, communicate solutions clearly, and implement scalable, long-term fixes
  • Maintain site health by managing plugins, performing updates, and ensuring backups are regularly completed
  • Communicate clearly and ask thoughtful questions to ensure alignment
  • Stay current with web standards (W3C), accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and front-end best practices—and help keep the team informed and up to date.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, ideally in a marketing or creative environment
  • Proficiency in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and PHP—with the ability to hand-code clean responsive, and accessible interfaces
  • Strong experience working in WordPress or similar PHP-based CMS platforms with the ability to build custom themes, modify existing themes, and customize plugins
  • Strong ability to translate design files into functional, responsive web pages
  • Ability to collaborate and work alongside design teams
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and implementation of analytics tools
  • Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and A/B testing platforms like Google Optimize or Optimizely
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (especially Photoshop & Illustrator), with an understanding of image resolutions, aspect ratios, and file formats
  • Excellent attention to detail with a QA-focused mindset
  • Bonus: Experience with performance tracking tools like Clarity or similar
  • Bonus: Experience in graphic design or UX-focused development

Preferred Skills     

  • Resourcefulness - the ability to find quick and creative ways to overcome difficulties.
  • Initiative - proactive in finding opportunities for improvement and taking action. 
  • Basic understanding of Google Suites  - Include Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Forms

New Hire Base Salary Range

  • $100,000-$130,000
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
  • The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
