Summary 

The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping and maintaining Topstep’s visual identity across all brands and touchpoints. This role combines conceptual design, creative problem-solving, and brand stewardship to ensure that every visual asset, from marketing campaigns to product experiences, reflects Topstep’s personality, clarity, and commitment to excellence.

You’ll lead the design execution of brand and marketing initiatives, uphold and evolve brand standards, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive, high-quality creative that drives awareness, engagement, and performance.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and evolve the visual identity of Topstep’s brand(s) and product(s).
  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines and ensure assets are up to date, cohesive, and consistent.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and creative leadership to ensure visual consistency across all campaigns and initiatives.
  • Oversee and mentor junior designers and interns, ensuring alignment with brand standards and creative direction.`
  • Conceptualize, design, and execute creative deliverables across digital and print channels, including marketing campaigns, social media, websites, emails, landing pages, presentations, and motion graphics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic goals into effective visual communications.
  • Oversee production and file preparation, ensuring quality and accuracy across all deliverables.
  • Work with creative agencies and external vendors to extend brand execution across initiatives.
  • Monitor performance of creative assets and evolve designs based on data, insights, and testing outcomes.
  • Organize and manage digital assets, file sharing, and brand libraries for team access and efficiency.
  • Stay informed on design trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand current and competitive.
  • Share learnings, creative evolutions, and best practices with internal teams to encourage continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • 7+ years of experience in graphic design or related creative roles.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand design, campaign execution, and cross-channel creative work.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
  • Deep understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proven experience developing design systems and maintaining cohesive brand aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to feedback or changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, UX principles, and motion graphics is a plus.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and design innovation.

New Hire Base Salary Range

  • $120,000-140,000
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
  • The compensation offered will take into account internal compensation structure and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
