Your Mission As a member of our tactical procurement team, you ensure the timely availability of finished goods (electronic products) and critical raw materials. You take ownership of planning and procuring products from our manufacturing partners and sourcing key electronic components to support uninterrupted production. By collaborating closely with strategic procurement, product management, and customer service, you help keep our supply chain agile, reliable, and efficient.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan Production & Purchasing: Align with our manufacturing partners to plan production schedules based on sales forecasts and orders.
  • Secure Raw Materials: Ensure the availability of key raw materials for our suppliers to keep production on track.
  • Delivery Management: Prioritize deliveries with suppliers and handle first-level escalations when issues arise.
  • Product Lifecycle Coordination: Support the phase-in and phase-out of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Purchase Order Management: Process daily purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring timely follow-ups with suppliers.
  • Order Tracking: Monitor supplier confirmations and delivery timelines, keeping stakeholders informed of any delays.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Handle supplier change notifications and coordinate with our Product Lifecycle Management team.
  • Data Maintenance: Keep material and supplier master data up to date in our ERP system (Dynamics 365).
  • Invoice Support: Assist the finance team in managing incoming invoices.
  • Cross-Functional Projects: Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives, such as new product launches and process improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimization opportunities in procurement workflows.

Skills

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in tactical procurement, with mandatory experience in production planning, and preferably also raw material disposition in an industrial environment — ideally within electronics.
  • Applications and Tools: Comfortable using modern tooling like ERP systems (MRP/BOM), Atlassian tools, and API/EDI solutions.
  • Language: Fluent in English and German (B2 level or higher), both written and spoken.
  • Excellence: Very precise and organized way of working.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Communication & Ownership: Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward responsibility and problem-solving.
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to handle multiple tasks and think ahead, identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
