We are scaling up our SaaS solution, Torizon Cloud. The platform enables customers to develop and maintain IoT systems while cutting development time and reducing costs. We are targeting markets such as Industrial Automation, Medical, Renewables, Robotics, and other embedded and IoT use cases. Increased cybersecurity requirements and fast-evolving AI use cases drive the demand for Torizon.

As an Account Executive,  you will be responsible for generating new business by selling our SaaS solution to existing hardware customers and prospects, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. With your enthusiasm and drive, you will connect with engineers and project leaders, propose value-adding solutions, and act as a bridge between their needs and our technical experts. Your strong communication skills will help you build a solid network, maintain customer relationships, and relay their feedback to our product and application teams to shape the SaaS offering. This role requires a proactive personality, preferably with some experience in SaaS sales, a solid background in engineering, and a genuine passion for technology. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

This position is ideal for junior to mid-level professionals who are ambitious, results-driven, and ready to grow.

The role is located in Horw, Switzerland, and may require up to 20% travel activity.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and qualify both inbound and outbound leads through research, outreach, and engagement
  • Support the sales cycle by assisting in product demonstrations, discovery calls, and customer meetings
  • Understand customer challenges and effectively position Torizon Cloud solutions to meet their business and technical needs
  • Conduct thorough account research to develop actionable account intelligence and support strategic opportunity planning
  • Prepare compelling proposals, quotations, and contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all customer interactions, opportunities, and progress are accurately documented in the CRM system
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align go-to-market (GTM) strategies and tailor messaging to target segments
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and customer visits to build relationships and increase brand visibility

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience also considered
  • Initial experience in B2B sales, customer success, or a SaaS/tech environment is highly valued
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German; French is an advantage
  • Demonstrated curiosity and the ability to grasp technical concepts, especially in embedded systems, cloud platforms, and DevOps
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using modern sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and contributing to a fast-growing sales team
