Mission

The Distributor Channel Manager is responsible for accelerating the success and expansion of Toradex’s distribution network in EMEA and AMERICAS. This role ensures that distributor partners are thoroughly trained, strategically aligned, and well prepared to represent the Toradex value proposition—which integrates high-performance embedded computing solutions with outstanding technical support and robust software offerings.

As a key role on the distributor strategy and execution, the AMERICAS AND EMEA Distributor Channel Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to extend market coverage, improve lead quality, and maximize the performance of indirect sales channels. The overarching mission is to transform Toradex’s distributor network into a high-impact, revenue-generating engine that delivers consistent design wins and long-term customer value.

The position is based in Horw, Switzerland (onsite). Travel activity may be up to 25%. 

Key Outcomes

  • Builds a high-performing, strategically aligned global distributor network that contributes significantly to the company growth by new projects, design-ins, and revenue.
  • Improves distributor enablement through structured onboarding, training and continuous support, ensuring consistent messaging and technical alignment.
  • Assure funnel visibility, forecast accuracy and distributor accountability via KPIs, structured reviews, CRM tracking and corrective actions where necessary.
  • Promote effective cooperation between distributors and Toradex’s internal functions to facilitate seamless customer handovers and deliver a uniform customer experience
  • Build a strong network of influencers and champions inside the distributor organization by promoting Toradex’s unique value.
  • Channel actionable feedback from the field to Product Management, Sales, and Marketing for continuous refinement and alignment

Key Competencies

  • Ability to align distributor goals with Toradex’s broader business objectives, anticipate market dynamics, and recommend adaptive strategies
  • Deep understanding of indirect sales models and distribution strategies in the embedded market.
  • Experience with joint business planning, funnel management, and distributor QBRs.
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling in a technical, B2B context.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, SoMs, and related technologies.
  • Fluent in English; excellent communication skills across diverse cultures and regions. German is a plus.
  • Skilled in building trust and influence across internal teams and external partners.
  • Organized and process-oriented, with a data-driven approach to partner management.
