What You'll Do
Torc's Map Enablement Team is looking for a Software Engineer 2 to help deliver a ML Ops system that can scale with Torc’s commercial expansion. A strong technical foundation in delivering data processing pipelines and APIs is important for this role. This individual will collaborate with engineering teams that use ML Enablement’s software, creating tailored solutions and turning feedback into features.

Uphold a culture of collaboration, transparency, creativity, inclusion, and data-driven decisions

Participate in design and code reviews

Promote a culture of operational excellence by implementing effective testing and monitoring for ML Enablement’s services

Participate in the on-call rotation to support the health of our services

Participate in project planning and collaborate with technical product managers on the priorities and customer expectations of the proposed software solutions
What You'll Need
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related & 3+ years of professional experience OR Master's Degree with 1-3+ years of relevant experience

Good knowledge of at least one programming language (С++, Python, Scala, Java), Python preferred.

Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, Event Bridge, Glue, Athena) or any other cloud platform.

Experience working with high throughput data processing pipelines.

Experience designing and implementing APIs for external or internal use.

Experience in source control applications and agile workflows such as GITHUB and JIRA.
Bonus Points

Previous experience with ML Ops workflows including dataset management, model training pipelines, and model registries.

Experience in the autonomous vehicle space.
US Pay Range
$139,000 - $166,800 USD
