Meet the Team:
As a Procurement Specialist you will lead sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for a wide range of goods and services— including hardware, software, SaaS, and professional services. Additionally, you will work collaboratively to support and optimize vendor relationships and contracts and relationships to address needs for affiliated business units in conjunction with company requirements in alignment with Torc’s Global Sourcing Strategies.
What you'll do:
- Manage end-to-end procurement for IT categories: hardware, software, SaaS, and IT services.
- Lead RFX processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), evaluate vendor proposals, and facilitate cross-functional decision making.
- Analyze and negotiate software licensing agreements and renewals to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and Security teams to define procurement strategies and technical requirements.
- Align sourcing decisions with business goals, risk management, and budget constraints.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and track performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Support vendor onboarding, compliance reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure scalability of IT vendor contracts to accommodate rapid growth and geographic expansion.
- Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies and external regulations.
- Use procurement tools (e.g., Workday) to manage RFX events, requisitions, purchase orders, contracts records, and approvals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sourcing and contracting workflows.
- Educate internal teams on procurement policies, tools, and best practices.
- Serve as a point of contact for procurement-related questions and escalations.
What you’ll need to Succeed:
- Demonstrate competencies and technical proficiencies typically acquired through BS+ 4+ years of experience or MS+ 0-3+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of IT procurement or strategic sourcing experience, preferably in a fast-paced or technology driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, user-based, consumption based).
- Demonstrated experience with RFX events and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement systems; Workday experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to build trust and strong working relationships, effectively create and proofread documents and reports, and communicate to a diverse workforce.
- Keen attention to detail to identify problems and processes that don’t comply with protocol
- Critical/logical thinking to identify problems and provide solutions to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Strong business insight and judgment, team orientation and collaborative style
- Strong time management and organizational skills to plan, develop, coordinate resources, prioritize effectively, and maintain competing demands simultaneously with frequent interruptions and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to ethically handle sensitive and confidential information with impartiality and professionalism.

US Pay Range
$96,700 - $116,000 USD
