Meet the Team:
The HRIS Specialist serves as company liaison, system specialist, and administrator for the human resource information system (Workday) that houses company and employee records, onboarding records, payroll and timekeeping software. Responsible for overall system performance and maintenance, including ensuring information security, testing updates, and improving process efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Monitor Workday system performance and identify processes that need improvement, research and outline appropriate solutions, provide relevant production support, and represent Torc to the third-party company for developments. Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements to Workday for developments. Provide system support and testing to ensure compliance and desired end results.
- Gather HRIS data using system reporting tools or running queries. Perform data analysis to ensure the system is properly recording specific metrics. Maintains appropriate user documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure continuous operations.
- Create and maintain accurate and helpful training documents to train users on the system and provide an easy flow and quality end-user experience.
- Provides system maintenance during system upgrades and patches. Collaborate with third-party consultants and developers to manage software implementation projects, coordinate system maintenance processes, make necessary updates, and document results.
- Collects and ensures integrity of workforce data, compiles reports and responds to requests from leadership and HR Business Partners. Consults with Centers of Excellence and other People Operations personnel to determine HRIS needs. Documents manager and employee systems concerns and seeks and implements enhancements.
- Gathers HRIS data and runs queries and reports to support HR administration. Ensures confidentiality of data and reports.
- Ensures effective safety and security of HRIS data, software and hardware systems.
- Configures functional Workday requirements as driven by the business
- Conducts regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies
- Participate in system upgrades and roll out strategy
What you’ll need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree PLUS 1-3 years of experience
- Hands on Workday experience HCM required, Workday Headcount Planning and Workforce Planning experience is a plus

US Pay Range
$96,700 - $116,000 USD
