PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

Torq is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to create compelling content that brings our products and innovations to the market. This individual will play a key role in Torq’s growth, ensuring security teams across the world hear about our newest features. With a strong track record in content creation and an in-depth understanding of our customers’ needs, you’ll help the market quickly realize the value of our newest features.

This key role will partner closely with our content marketing, product management, demand generation, sales enablement, and sales teams. The Torq marketing team leads with entertainment and pushes boundaries in everything we do - and we need you to bring your creativity, imagination and energy to the product marketing function. 


What You'll Do

  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of multiple domains across cybersecurity and related technologies to develop clear, crisp messaging and positioning for Torq products and features
  • Serve as liaison and trusted advisor to sales, product, marketing, and relevant internal teams, ensuring consistent messaging and operational effectiveness.
  • Content Creation: Develop fresh content, including collateral, thought leadership assets and solution presentations, website content, videos, blogs, by-lined articles and more to execute communication strategies and accelerate the customer’s journey.
  • Market and Competitive Intelligence: Be the expert on target buyers, market trends, and competitive offerings across the cybersecurity landscape and how this intersects with our offerings. Use this to drive differentiation and influence overall planning.
  • Trusted Evangelist: Serve as an evangelist for our product through thought leadership and blogging, social media, and public speaking.

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably with experience in cybersecurity
  • Very strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and resourcefulness to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion about cybersecurity and ability to deliver in the face of a challenge.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort in the spotlight of high-visibility initiatives.
  • Ability to create clear and compelling messages as well as willingness to roll up the sleeves to create externally facing assets or internal deliverables.
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to educate and inspire small groups and conference audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
