Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Director Professional Services (Portfolio Offerings and Solutions).  Director of Professional Services ("Director") to partner closely with the Executive Director ("ED") of Professional Services in driving the creation and delivery of innovative service offerings. This role is crucial in helping to define new services, ensure they are effectively staffed, and generate new revenue streams that align with TGCS’s strategic growth objectives. Instrumental in identifying market opportunities, developing service offerings that meet emerging client needs, and assembling high-performing teams to deliver these services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Professional Services, a keen understanding of market dynamics, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth through new service development. 

Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:

Required Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Professional Services, with a strong focus on service development, staffing, and revenue generation. Experience in technology or retail solutions is highly desirable. 
  • Service Development Expertise: Proven track record in defining, developing, and launching new service offerings that drive revenue growth. Experience in market analysis and service positioning is essential. 
  • Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building and managing high-performing teams. Ability to lead through change and drive a culture of innovation and accountability. 
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to translate market opportunities into actionable service offerings. Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. 
  • Client Focus: Deep commitment to understanding and meeting client needs. Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, particularly in a Professional Services context. 
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders. 
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with global teams. 
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management principles, including P&L responsibility and revenue forecasting. Services margin and resources cost in the Professional Services world 
  • Innovation: A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a track record of successfully bringing new ideas to market. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Innovation: Collaborate with the ED to identify and define new service offerings that align with TGCS’s strategic goals and market opportunities. Lead the development of these services from concept to launch, ensuring they are positioned for success in the marketplace.     

Revenue Generation: Focus on creating new revenue streams by expanding TGCS’s service portfolio into new markets, industries, and regions. Develop strategies to monetize new services effectively, ensuring they contribute to the company’s financial targets.     

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform the development of new services. Stay abreast of industry trends and client needs, using this information to drive service innovation and differentiation.     

Operational Leadership: Oversee the implementation and delivery of new services, ensuring they are executed efficiently and meet or exceed client expectations. Continuously refine service delivery models to optimize performance and client satisfaction.     

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the success of new service offerings. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure services meet profitability targets.     

Client Engagement: Engage with key clients to understand their needs and ensure that new services are aligned with their business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships that foster client loyalty and repeat business.     
 
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Director will play a key role in generating new revenue streams that contribute to the overall Professional Services annual revenue target and help achieve or exceed the gross profit targets. 

COMPLEXITY
This role involves navigating complex market dynamics, balancing the demands of service innovation with operational execution, and driving revenue growth through new service offerings. The Director must excel in managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively across the organization to achieve TGCS’s strategic objectives.
