We are seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to drive efficiency, optimize marketing technology, and support data-driven decision-making for our global B2B marketing team.

The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for centralizing and optimizing marketing technology, business processes, data analytics, and performance tracking to support B2B marketing efforts. This role ensures alignment between marketing strategies and business objectives, while driving efficiency, visibility, and effectiveness in marketing execution.

This individual will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and business leadership to demonstrate Marketing’s impact on the business through things like improved reporting capabilities, optimize technology investments, enhance marketing processes, and support strategic planning initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a marketing operations role within a B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to serve, collaborate with, and influence executive management, providing insights-driven recommendations.
  • Marketing strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Opportunity pipeline tracking and lead management best practices.
  • Strong data analysis and marketing measurement expertise to ensure the creation and tracking of KPIs most applicable to business and marketing objectives.
  • Ability to synthesize and translate quantitative data from multiple sources (marketing, sales, finance) into actionable insights.
  • Experience with marketing technologies and tools, including marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Ability to define and monitor opportunity management processes, including service-level agreements (SLAs) between marketing and sales.
  • Project management skills, with experience rolling out new applications or processes to sales and marketing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into marketing goals, measurements, and operational requirements.
  • Ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration, balancing organizational culture and politics across departments.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau to analyze marketing data and create dashboards for executive reporting.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in global marketing operations, aligning metrics and strategy across different regions.

  • Knowledge of organizational design and process optimization to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Understanding of account-based marketing.
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences, especially sales leaders.

Marketing Technology & Process Optimization

  • Assess and manage the marketing technology (MarTech) stack, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Act as the administrator and subject matter expert for MarTech platforms, including CRM, automation tools, and analytics solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee marketing data governance, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Deliver effective change management when implementing new marketing technologies, processes, or policies.

Marketing Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Design and maintain marketing performance dashboards, ensuring visibility into key metrics such as pipeline influence, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Provide actionable insights to the CMO/VP and marketing leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to track marketing’s impact on revenue growth and pipeline generation.
  • Ensure marketing reporting aligns with corporate KPIs, executive expectations, and global business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CMO/VP and marketing leaders, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Partner with sales, product marketing, and demand generation teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing-related data, insights, and performance tracking across the organization.

Marketing GTM Engineering

  • Drive leading-edge, data-driven insights for how the operations function works, evaluating, testing, and implementing new AI-driven approaches and tools to improve outcomes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
