Legal Law Clerk

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Law Clerk to support our in-house legal team. This role involves conducting legal research and analysis, optimizing legal workflows, and collaborating across departments to ensure efficiency and compliance with internal policies. You will play a key role in scaling legal operations and driving strategic initiatives that align with the company’s rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide accurate, timely analysis to in-house attorneys, paralegals, and internal business partners across a broad range of legal topics.

  • Ensure alignment with internal policies and procedures to support compliance efforts.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes, improve efficiency, and implement scalable solutions to meet the demands of a growing organization.

  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth workflows and ensure timely responses to legal inquiries and requests.

  • Develop and refine internal legal procedures and best practices to enhance overall department operations.

  • Lead and manage projects aligned with the broader legal strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; paralegal certificate or legal studies background is a plus.

  • 2+ years of experience in a legal, compliance, or operations-focused role.

  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in legal operations within a corporate environment.

  • Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software
