
Procurement Specialist III
The Procurement Specialist III, manages and continuously improves the assigned categories of spend. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of sourcing, operations, technical, finance and other key colleagues to prioritize sourcing initiatives, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, support spend controls, and manage preferred supplier relationships.
We’re looking for a seasoned procurement professional to lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Supports the execution of global sourcing strategies focused on identifying and contracting with preferred suppliers that meet key business needs and category management goals
The Procurement Specialist III will prepare contracts for execution in accordance with TGCS standards, policies, and procedures, will take an active role in driving contract management, risk management, stakeholder management, and supplier management in all contract endeavors. The applicant will also develop and maintain relationships with peers, legal, finance and other internal stakeholders across the TGCS business area, and with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 4 – 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in contract lifecycle management
- Strategic Sourcing & Category Management expertise
Areas of Expertise & Special Skills
- Strategic sourcing and category management for goods and or services.
- Contract negotiation and lifecycle management, including renewals and amendments.
- Understanding of typical legal and commercial terms such as but not limited to intellectual property, indemnification, warranties, liability, and confidentiality clauses.
- Strong supplier performance benchmarking and analytical capabilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (legal, finance, engineering, and operations).
- Knowledge of procurement compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks.

Supplier Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between TGCS and logistics/service providers.
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships and performance.
- Resolve invoicing, licensing, and compliance issues while tracking renewals and ensuring service continuity.
