Position Summary

With a commitment to quality, precision, and on-time delivery, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test/Troubleshooting Technician to join our growing team.

We are seeking a skilled Test & Troubleshooting Technician with a strong background in wire and cable harness assembly and electrical engineering to join our team in Hudson, NH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of custom cable and wire harness assemblies to ensure they meet all specifications and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications 

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting wire and cable harnesses in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of cable and wire harness design and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents and schematics.
  • Familiarity with ESD handling procedures and quality assurance protocols

Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, hipot, etc.).
  • Skilled in interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards (certification a plus).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment

Job Responsibilities 

  • Perform functional and continuity testing on cable and wire harness assemblies using multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot testers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Identify, isolate, and repair electrical faults in assemblies and components.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to support troubleshooting and quality control.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve product reliability and manufacturability.
  • Document test results, failure modes, and rework performed in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Support first article inspections and assist with the development of test procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and other relevant standards.

Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required. 

 

Internal and External Relationships

This position will interact with engineering and production on a regular basis.
