EZ Form Warehouse Associate

Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the timely fulfillment of cable orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every step. Primary responsibilities include pulling cables from stock, cutting them to precise lengths, and preparing and securely packaging cables for shipment, all while adhering to company quality standards and deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Previous work in a warehouse or manufacturing position
Knowledge:
- Solid foundation in basic math skills, with the ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently
- Basic computer proficiency, with familiarity in common software applications for task management and documentation
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure clear communication and understanding
Skills:
- Proficient in the operation of electric chop saws, ensuring clean and precise cuts
- Capable of setting up and adjusting wire straighteners to maintain optimal performance and product quality
- Reading and interpreting both imperial and metric measurements with precision
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard techniques, approaches, guidelines, policies, and procedures relevant to the role
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize the ERP system to accurately log job entries and track time, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate timekeeping
- Follow detailed work orders to pull the correct cable from the stockroom, ensuring accuracy in product selection
- Cut or coil cables in accordance with work orders, adhering to specified lengths and specifications
- Verify that the correct quantity of cable is shipped to customers, ensuring no discrepancies
- Ensure that the correct type of cable is shipped to customers, maintaining high standards of product accuracy
- Pack cables securely to prevent damage during transit, following best practices for safe shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, optimizing efficiency and minimizing hazards
- Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime
- Report any issues or concerns immediately to the Warehouse Manager to facilitate quick resolution
- Consistently meet or exceed daily shipment goals, contributing to team success and operational efficiency
Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
