Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator will support EZ Form Cable’s business growth by acting as a central point of coordination between sales, marketing, engineering, and production teams. This role blends customer-facing responsibilities with internal project management, data analysis, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- MBA preferred
Experience (Required):
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales or marketing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the RF/microwave, interconnect, or cable assembly industry strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to customers professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Familiarity with Zoom info, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other lead generation tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems and quoting tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications.
- Knowledge of government/defense contracting requirements.
- Trade show coordination experience
Job Responsibilities
Sales Support and Customer Coordination
- Serve as the liaison between Sales and Production/Engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Follow up on orders with engineering; expedite requests as necessary.
- Manage on-time delivery (OTD) confirmation requests and provide tracking information to customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Maintain and update sales forecasts and pipelines.
- Oversee new customer onboarding, including contract status tracking.
Prospecting and Accounting Management
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Follow up with trade show leads and other inbound inquiries.
- Implement structured outreach to decision-makers at target accounts.
- Manage key customer accounts by preparing tailored proposals and presentations.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Target new programs, platforms, and locations for business expansion.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including quote conversion rates, reorder timelines, and market penetration.
- Utilize tools such as digital resources for lead generation and market research.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Marketing Activities
- Work with Trexon Marketing to develop and execute social media content, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Support the launch of new products, including creating marketing materials.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of trade shows, including booth setup, collateral, and travel arrangements.
Contract and Process Management
- Oversee the contract review process, ensuring all terms and conditions are reviewed by the appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-selling initiatives with other sales team members to expand account penetration.
Administrative and Operational Tasks
- Prepare accurate quotations and enter orders into the ERP system.
- Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Sales Manager or General Manager.
Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
