Sales Support Representative
Position Summary
The Sales Support Representative role is crucial in supporting our sales team, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong communication and organizational skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or inside sales role (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting).
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technical sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with order processing, quoting, and customer inquiries.
- Review customer contracts and quality clauses to ensure alignment with company policies, pricing, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, lead times, and product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and sales data in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including production, engineering, and shipping, to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Provide support in preparing sales reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Assist in managing and updating customer accounts and pricing agreements.
- Identify and escalate customer issues to the appropriate team members for resolution.
- Support marketing efforts by helping with promotions, trade shows, and customer outreach.
Internal and External Relationships
This position interacts with production, quality, and engineering departments on a regular basis
