Position Summary 

Power Connector, LLC is entering a new and exciting phase of growth and opportunity filled with innovative and progressive thinking and strategizing. With this historic transition comes the need to enhance and grow the company through restructuring, reorganization, modernization, optimization, and business development. Power Connector’s Account Manager is critical in contributing to the fundamental changes that are transforming Power Connector. This position is instrumental in managing customer accounts and maintaining and strengthening customer relationships. This position’s primary focus is to execute on the team’s strategic plans for account management, growth, and sustainability.

Power Connector’s Account Manager is a dynamic, adaptable, open-minded problem solver with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. This position plays a key role in supporting and improving our current customer accounts, sales, and order bookings. This position enjoys the inherent challenges of managing accounts by monitoring and processing orders and ensuring that internal and external customers are notified of progress in a diverse and dynamic organization. This position has a strong influence on the fundamental principles guiding account management and order processing and works closely with the General Manager and Trexon corporate team to realize the company’s true business potential.

Minimum Qualifications

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related field

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience as an Account Manager or relevant area

 Knowledge:

  • Experience with data entry into MRP system
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with connectors or within the industry

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skill, technical and nontechnical concepts
  • Ability to work within a team to meet quotas
  • Ability to work effectively under demanding and dynamic environments, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Experience delivering customer-focused solutions to customer needs

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for a subset of customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, dependable customer relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within customer network
  • Receive Request for Quotes from current customers (when applicable) and collaborate with sales team to assess and respond to inquiries
  • Receive purchase orders from current customers, verify price information, and input into MRP system
  • Input sales orders into MRP system
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of product according to customer needs and objectives
  • Review and execute on customer accounts and transactions and prepare account status and reports as needed
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with challenging customer requests and issue escalations as needed
  • Listen to customers’ concerns and complaints and coordinate returns
  • Give detailed explanations of products and services
  • Collaborate with sales team to create better methods to address customer complaints
  • Communicate with customers in-person or via email or phone
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • Any additional tasks necessary to execute on the team’s strategy for operational sustainability, improvement, and optimization

 Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.

Compensation
This position has a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000 annually
