Description of Position
TPG is seeking a Talent Acquisition Senior Associate to join our Global HR team. This role is ideal for a recruiter who is energized by a high volume & face-paced environment, enjoys a high degree of ownership over their work, and is looking to further develop their strategic recruiting skills within a sophisticated global firm. As TPG scales, we continue to adjust our recruiting strategies to handle continued volume through increased automation and more sustainable, proactive approaches.
In this role, you will act as a talent advisor to the business, helping to move beyond just-in-time hiring by contributing to the development of evergreen talent pipelines. You will manage the full-cycle process for experienced hires, with a focus on direct sourcing, stakeholder calibration, and data-driven execution. While you will have a high level of autonomy in managing your searches, you will work closely with TA leadership to help drive the evolution of our recruiting function. This role focuses on the strategy and execution of the search, while partnering with Recruiting Coordinators who lead the interview logistics and scheduling.
Principal Responsibilities
- Search Ownership & Execution: Own and execute the full-cycle recruitment process for a significant portfolio of experienced-level hires, acting as a primary point of contact for hiring managers from intake through to offer negotiation.
- Evergreen Pipeline Support: Help build and maintain evergreen talent pools for core, recurring functions (Operations, Finance, Accounting) to ensure a consistent, high-quality funnel of talent that anticipates the firm's growth.
- Direct Sourcing & Market Research: Execute direct sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent. Conduct market research and mapping to provide business leaders with talent intelligence and reduce reliance on external search firms.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with hiring managers to understand their business priorities and talent needs. Assist in the development of search strategies and provide guidance on market conditions and candidate calibration.
- Process Improvement Support: Assist in the evolution of the TPG recruiting model by helping to implement and execute new workflows, automation, and technology enhancements (Greenhouse/Workday).
- KPI & Data Execution: Partner with TA leadership to help build KPIs and maintain absolute discipline in data capture. Execute against defined metrics and use funnel data to report on search health and help inform hiring decisions.
- Search Firm Coordination: Assist in managing external search firm relationships for specialized roles, ensuring they are aligned with TPG’s process standards and goals.
- Candidate Management: Manage the candidate relationship and sell the TPG opportunity and culture throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a high-touch and professional experience.
- Broader HR Support: Participate in broader Human Resources team initiatives and projects as needed, across diversity, learning & engagement, performance, development, and other sub-functional areas.

- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy while remaining a collaborative team player who is open to training and professional development.
