About the Position
The Manager, Performance Marketing plays a critical role in driving revenue growth across The Princeton Review’s core test prep and tutoring products. Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, this role owns in-platform execution across paid search, paid social, Reddit ads, influencer partnerships, and affiliate marketing programs.
This position is responsible for turning strategy into performance. You will manage day-to-day optimization, budget allocation, testing roadmaps, and channel performance to ensure every marketing dollar delivers measurable return. Your work will directly impact customer acquisition, revenue growth, and marketing efficiency across key product lines. What You'll Do
- Strategy & Execution
o Execute multi-channel paid media strategies developed by the Director of Performance Marketing across Google, Bing, Meta, Reddit, influencer partnerships, and affiliate networks.
o Own in-platform campaign build, optimization, testing (creative, bidding, audiences, landing pages), and budget pacing to hit CAC, ROAS, and revenue targets.
o Identify performance trends and proactively recommend tactical shifts to improve efficiency, scale, and contribution margin.
- Channel Management & Growth
o Manage and optimize Google paid search, Meta paid social, Reddit performance campaigns, influencer activations, affiliate programs, and other new channels as assigned.
o Build structured testing roadmaps across channels to unlock incremental scale while protecting efficiency targets.
o Collaborate with creative, analytics, and product marketing teams to improve messaging alignment and conversion performance.
- Operations & Performance Analytics
o Own daily and weekly performance reporting, pacing analysis, and channel forecasting.
o Ensure accurate tracking, attribution alignment, and conversion integrity in partnership with analytics and marketing ops teams.
o Maintain rigorous budget management discipline and develop clear documentation of optimizations, tests, and learnings.
Who You Are
- You have 4–8 years of hands-on performance marketing experience managing paid search and paid social budgets with clear revenue accountability.
• You have direct in-platform experience with Google, Bing,and Meta Ads Manager; experience with Reddit ads, influencer programs, or affiliate platforms is strongly preferred.
• You are highly analytical and comfortable managing to CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin targets.
• You thrive in execution — you enjoy building campaigns, launching tests, optimizing bids, and improving conversion rates.
• You understand full-funnel acquisition strategy and how paid channels support both immediate revenue and long-term brand demand.
• You are detail-oriented and operationally rigorous, with strong budget pacing and forecasting discipline.
• You communicate clearly and concisely, translating performance data into actionable insights.
• You collaborate effectively across creative, analytics, and marketing stakeholders.
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, revenue-focused environment with seasonal demand cycles.
• You demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a bias toward measurable results.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $104,000
The Princeton Review and Tutor.com offer a competitive salary which commensurates with experience and skills.
