JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Regional Solutions Architect (SRSA) will be the consultative technology leader aligned to an Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) business unit with a solutions-focused capability who creates strong client intimacy with their technical expertise. The SRSA will provide education and thought leadership while translating client business requirements into implementable technology solutions. With the goal of driving both product and services revenue (NRR, MRR/ARR), this role will focus on the creation and implementation of the solutions architecture by delivering presentations and demos, writing proposals and documenting deliverables for DVS as well as supporting POC/POV’s and billable or non-billable workshops. The cornerstone of this role will also focus on building deep client relationships, gaining trust and enabling client success. Additionally, the SRSA will be primarily responsible for assignment of opportunities to an Engagement Architect (EA) for transition to the Engage phase of E3 methodology.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to identify and create winning sales strategies and new client opportunities.
- Communicate value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients, including executive ''C'' level management, VP, and Director levels, and end-users.
- Capture and process the customer information to build a robust proposed solution that addresses the business and technical requirements while considering the solution’s efficiency, flexibility, scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Develop Bill of Material (BOM)/proposal and provide recommendations using manufacture tools.
- Prepare and present external demos and training sessions with specific architecture focuses for clients and partners.
- Develop presales collateral and hands-on labs, as needed to drive solutions sales working with HQ teams.
- Actively participate in the solutions configuration process with the Inside Sales team and ensure the software/hardware order is accurate and complete.
- Provide pipeline tracking for all potential opportunities in customer relationship management (CRM) tool and update according to defined processes established for presales activity.
- Recommend new technologies, best practices, and tools that support the growth of the business.
- Represent the Business Unit solutions and/or relevant technology solutions within the region assigned.
- Provide leadership and mentorship and technical direction for other engineering roles.
- Provide post-sales technical support and participate in the deployment of various solutions.
- Develop technical scope of Statement of Work (SOW)
- Provide accurate services Level of Effort (LOE) scoping.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience with providing consultative engineering services for organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent level of experience.
- Highest level certifications within Architecture area, preferred.
- An understanding of the environment and challenges of IT operations in the typical corporation.
- Strong experience designing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
- Knowledge and familiarity of various engineering disciplines including Security, Networking, Data Storage, Backup Storage Solutions, Hyperconverged Solutions and Virtualization (VMware)
- Excellent presentation skills; able to comfortably communicate and present in front of C-Level Executives, VPs and Directors.
- Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.
- Familiarity with the local district markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with people from many different disciplines.
- Ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
- Ability to mix deep technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable, educational and useful.
- Must have a firm grasp on the industry and anticipate trends and movements while balancing maturity and timing.
- Motivated self-starter who loves to solve challenging problems and feels comfortable working directly with customers.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
Estimated Pay Range
$150,000 - $180,000 USD
