About the Role:

The Solutions Architect will assess opportunities and determine the level of effort required to execute Professional Services engagements to ensure client success and design solutions to optimize client results and internal goals.  This position will conduct client-facing meetings with the respective sales teams to gather necessary information for solutions of the network, storage, compute, and wireless installations, decommissions, and migrations while ensuring cost components meet or exceed Trace3 and client requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Professional Services team in providing services that meet or exceed customer requirements and position Trace3 for a differentiated response.
  • Determine the resource skill set necessary to deliver accurately and successfully on a wide range of requests.
  • Identify and quantify all cost factors involved in an engagement. Obtain material pricing from vendors and organize all necessary information to create and submit proposals to clients/sales teams.  Use detailed spreadsheets and company-approved formulas to calculate proposed project costs
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to identify and qualify Professional Services opportunities. Maintain in-depth knowledge of company offerings and upcoming technologies via training and research.
  • Participate in customer solution presentations and deliver Professional Services content and value positioning. Develop a detailed scope of work that summarizes deliverables clearly for each engagement. 
  • Technically advise client/sales teams on Professional Services offerings
  • Prepare and submit RFI/RFP responses before the due date to clarify discrepancies in the specifications, plans, or scope of a project designed by an outside architect/consultant.
  • Interface with internal Professional Services team, sales teams, and Client Success Managers in the preparation of final LOEs and SOWs.
  • Establish rapport and confidence with client/sales teams and clients while maintaining overall satisfaction throughout the solutions and sales lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
  • Assists in developing IT Solution design templates, standards, and guidelines to improve solution accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage marketing activities for Managed Service offerings and assist in researching and developing new products.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

 

Qualifications & Interests:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years solutioning and sales support in Network, Data Center, Infrastructure, and wireless deployments.
  • Knowledge in Smart Hands, Rack and Stack, Active Directory, DNS, Remote Desktop Services, Cloud environment, Network design, Window Server, Authentication technologies.
  • Cost analysis and experience developing pricing outputs based on a Level of Effort (LOE) or Basis of Estimate (BOE).
  • Experienced in scoping and solutioning $1M-$5M+  deployment and migration projects
  • Strong internal and external communication skills, with the ability to present dynamic and complex business solutions to clients of all levels.
  • Excellent communication in English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple pursuits, and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong conflict resolution and/or mediation skills

 

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

Estimated Pay Range

$100,000 - $133,700 USD
