ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Principal Enterprise Systems Engineer will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the organization’s enterprise technology ecosystem. This individual will lead the development, integration, and optimization of core business systems while also serving as a key contributor in aligning applications portfolio—including ERP and ITSM platforms—with the organization’s strategic and long-term operational objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Design, configure, and optimize NetSuite modules including financials, billing, and custom records.
- Develop and maintain SuiteScript, workflows, SuiteTalk, and SuiteAnalytics for tailored solutions.
- Lead and support NetSuite upgrades, enhancements, and roadmap planning.
- Architect, build, and maintain APIs and middleware solutions for seamless system integrations (NetSuite, Marketing, HRIS, ServiceNow, custom apps, etc.).
- Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of integrations across the enterprise ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.
- Act as a technical lead for projects, guiding solution design and code reviews.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Influence architectural decisions and set best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to the systems engineering team.
QUALIFICATIONS & INTERESTS:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience overseeing enterprise application environments, such as ERP, CRM, and ITSM platforms, with demonstrated success in managing roadmaps, upgrades, and system optimization
- Strong expertise in enterprise platforms such as ERP (NetSuite preferred), CRM, and ServiceNow
- Proven ability to manage and support complex ServiceNow environments, including ITSM, ITOM, and integrations with third-party systems
- Proven expertise in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, Workflows, and SuiteBuilder
- Strong hands-on experience with API development, middleware platforms (e.g.,Celigo, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato), and REST/SOAP web services
- Demonstrated success in leading system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements with minimal disruption
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and technical requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hand-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and patching processes
- Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting
Estimated Pay Range
$120,000 - $130,000 USD
