JOB SUMMARY:
The System Test Data Manager supports the program’s System Test Team responsible for planning and analyzing Missile Defense System ground and flight tests. This role manages the collection, processing, delivery, and integrity of test event data retrieved from testbeds, laboratories, and operational environments. The position works closely with analysts, integrators, program leadership, and government stakeholders to ensure accurate data availability for test evaluation and analysis.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collect, process, manage, and deliver data generated during Missile Defense System ground and flight test events.
- Retrieve and manage data from testbeds, laboratories, and operational environments supporting system test activities.
- Support data management activities for various ground test types including pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Tests (GTI), Distributed Ground Tests (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight HWIL efforts.
- Support data management activities associated with flight tests involving pre-determined sensors and shooters.
- Process and fulfill real-world event (RWE) data requests.
- Provide analysts with requested “truth” data used for test evaluation and validation activities.
- Manage server and NAS disk storage used for test data collection and retention.
- Archive test data in accordance with established System Test processes.
- Coordinate with FFRDC analysts, contractor analysts, execution leads, system integrators, program leadership, and government customers.
- Generate and provide status reports related to data processing and delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Manager or Linux Systems Administrator.
- Strong Linux and Windows Server system administration experience.
- Basic scripting capability to develop scripts supporting automation of data collection and management activities.
- Experience with shell scripting, cron jobs, automation tools, and system utilities.
- Basic troubleshooting capability and understanding of software components within a distributed virtual environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment supporting government customers and internal/external program personnel.
EDUCATION: Bachelors with 5+ or Master with 3+ Years of Experience
LOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO
CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Secret
DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II
SALARY RANGE: $105,000 to $127,000

Estimated Pay Range
$105,000 - $127,000 USD
