JOB SUMMARY:
Integration Engineer III requires previous experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system, as well as experience in the integration of system components within an integrated test environment, including virtualized environments. Working knowledge of system design and overall integration into an operational environment; high proficiency with VMware, virtual servers, Linux, including shell scripting; detailed knowledge of Windows and Linux environments; working knowledge in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams
- Develops, creates, modifies, operates, integrates, tests, and maintains cloud based and on premises software systems or platforms.
- Performs integration testing using DevSecOps processes and tools
- Ensure security of software and systems.
- Performs Integration & Test (I&T) assignments involving definition of integration plans and sequences relative to complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.
- Participates in a complex I&T program which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning tests, developing test requirements, writing I&T procedures and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
- Participates in I&T readiness reviews, participates in design reviews, and conducts audits of I&T programs and facilities.
- Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in I&T engineering and applies understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
- Conducts tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting applications in a Kubernetes environment
- Experience preparing and executing Integration/Test procedures
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving SW system execution problems
- Experience with script development (Python, Perl, Bash)
- Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems
- Enthusiastic & energetic performer able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, & high-visibility environment
- Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight
- Experience with systems engineering principles and activities including Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with cloud-based and on premises deployment of applications
- Security+ Certification
- Experience with automated testing and test tools
- Experience with Java
- Experience with OpenShift
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting React, Next.js or other modern GUI frameworks preferred
- Minimum Secret clearance but Top Secret preferred
- 5+ years experience in similar role
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Estimated Pay Range
$120,000 - $140,000 USD
