Senior Account Executive – Federal Marketplace
Location: Washington, D.C. area
Travel: Up to 50%

TrackVia is looking for an experienced and highly self-directed Account Executive for the Federal Marketplace to help us expand our footprint with federal agencies and prime contractors. This role is ideal for someone with deep connections and expert understanding of government procurement cycles, strong federal networks, and a strategic approach to deal sourcing and territory development.

The ideal candidate combines creativity, persistence, and consultative solution selling with a strong track record of selling enterprise software to federal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a consultative sales process tailored to federal agencies and prime contractors, demonstrating how TrackVia’s low-code workflow platform addresses mission-critical needs.
  • Proactively develop and execute a strategic plan targeting federal departments and large prime contractors. .
  • Source, pursue, and close new business opportunities independently.
  • Build/nurture relationships with federal stakeholders, influencers, and procurement officers.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations with the ability to discuss  compliance, security, and operational requirements of government buyers.
  • Navigate long and complex procurement cycles with a disciplined, strategic sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales and solutions consulting to deliver technical and functional credibility.
  • Accurately manage pipeline, forecast opportunities, and document activities in Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the federal buyer journey, supporting internal efforts to improve TrackVia’s federal go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling complex, enterprise SaaS or workflow software.
  • 5+ years of experience successfully selling into federal agencies or large prime contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and close six-to-seven figure deals in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales process.
  • Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, compliance needs (FedRAMP, ATOs), and contracting strategies.
  • Well-developed network within the federal and prime-contractor ecosystem required.
  • Exceptional prospecting, territory planning, and relationship-building skills — this role is outbound-heavy and strategic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, storytelling, and executive engagement skills.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable partnering with technical resources and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 + $150,000+ commission
