Senior Solutions Engineer

Remote (United States)

Role Overview

Transcend is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer specializing in DSR Automation, Web Consent, and Mobile Consent Management to join our Customer Solutions team. This role is a hands-on implementation position focused on onboarding and deploying Transcend’s consent and data subject rights products across a diverse portfolio of customers ranging from mid-market to enterprise.

You will be the technical expert guiding customers through the implementation of Transcend’s web consent banners, mobile consent SDKs, and DSR automation workflows. This means working directly with customer development teams to integrate JavaScript snippets, configure tag management systems, troubleshoot client-side rendering issues, validate consent signal propagation, and build DSR orchestration logic that connects to downstream systems via APIs and pre-built integrations.

As Transcend continues to grow quickly, this role is critical to our ability to maintain world-class time-to-value for the high-volume segment of our customer base. You will directly contribute to reducing implementation backlogs while enabling a guided, high-quality onboarding motion that drives value for our customers.

This is a high-impact Individual Contributor role with daily opportunities to shape how we implement, document, and scale our consent and DSR solutions practice across a rapidly growing customer base.

This is a remote, Exempt, Full Time position based in the United States. The successful candidate must have valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. This role reports directly to the Director of Solutions Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  •   Own end-to-end implementation of Transcend’s web consent product for assigned customers, including JavaScript snippet deployment, tag manager configuration (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium,     etc.), and consent banner customization
  •   Troubleshoot client-side issues including script loading order, CSP (Content Security Policy) conflicts, cross-domain consent propagation, and rendering inconsistencies across browsers and devices
  •   Implement and configure Transcend’s DSR automation workflows for customer environments, including identity verification, request routing, system integrations, and fulfillment orchestration
  •   Work with customers to map their data ecosystem, identify data stores requiring integration, and configure deletion, access, and rectification workflows that meet regulatory SLAs they define
  •   Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, API authentication issues, rate limiting, and data transformation challenges during DSR execution
  •   Support implementation of Transcend’s mobile consent SDKs for iOS and Android applications, working alongside customer mobile development teams
  •   Develop and maintain implementation runbooks and onboarding templates for common web consent deployment patterns

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Building

  •   Partner with Solution Architecture to receive implementation blueprints and provide feedback on implementation feasibility, common friction points, and product gaps
  •   Collaborate with Program Management to maintain accurate project status, flag at-risk implementations, and ensure time-to-value targets are met
  •   Contribute implementation learnings to Transcend’s knowledge base and LMS to enable self-serve onboarding motions for lower-touch customer segments
  •   Work with Product & Engineering teams to surface bugs, feature requests, and integration improvements informed by hands-on customer implementation experience

Required Qualifications

  •   2–4 years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical support engineering, or professional services at a B2B SaaS company
  •   Strong client-side web development skills: proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the browser DOM; comfortable reading, writing, and debugging scripts that run in production web environments
  •   Knowledge of tag management systems (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium, Segment, or similar) and understanding of how third-party scripts load and execute in web pages
  •   Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys, JWT); ability to configure, test, and troubleshoot API-based integrations
  •   Experience troubleshooting client-side issues using browser developer tools (Network tab, Console, Elements inspector) and articulating technical root causes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  •   Excellent customer-facing communication skills with the ability to lead implementation calls, create clear technical documentation, and translate complex requirements into actionable steps
  •   Proactive project management skills; comfortable owning multiple concurrent implementations and driving them to completion with minimal oversight
  •   Experience working in a remote-first environment with strong async communication habits (Slack, Loom, Notion, or similar tools)
  •   Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift and processes are still being built

Preferred Qualifications

  •   Experience in data privacy, consent management, compliance technology, or a highly regulated industry (fintech, healthcare, adtech)
  •   Previous experience at a web-centric technology company such as a video player platform, e-commerce platform, content management system, or digital advertising technology vendor
  •   Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin) or experience supporting mobile SDK integrations
  •   Startup experience, especially in an environment where you wore multiple hats across implementation, support, and customer success

Compensation Information

  • Our comprehensive compensation packages play a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to bringing data rights to everyone.
  • The compensation pay range represents our reasonable expectation for this role. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, experience, education, skillset, and geographic location.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
