What You’ll Be Doing as a Backend Engineer (PHP) When the Role Opens Up

  • Design, build, and operate cloud-native services in a service-oriented architecture that supports multi-platform applications used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
  • Own the end-to-end development process for your services, from design to production, ensuring scalability and reliability in every step.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to build modern, scalable software that solves real-world problems for our users.
  • Join a team of passionate professionals, learning from senior engineers while contributing your expertise to impactful projects across the organization.

Core Technologies and Tools You Could Work With

  • Runtime: PHP 7/8, Symfony
  • Infrastructure: AWS, SNS/SQS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins
  • Data: MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, S3
  • Testing: phpspec, Behat, PHPUnit

What We’d Love to See in a Future Backend Engineer

  • 2+ years of experience building and delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience deploying backend applications at scale, especially with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Passion for building products that truly make a difference in people's lives.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Drive for innovation and best practices, with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
