
Risk Manager

The risk function plays a crucial role in shaping and embedding a strong risk culture across the organization. To further strengthen this foundation and support our growth, we are looking for an ambitious and proactive Risk Manager to join our team and help drive risk excellence across all areas of the business.
Here’s what you’ll be doing as Risk Manager:
- Support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Framework, including defining risk tolerance and appetite.
- Ensure third-party and critical service risk management complies with internal policies and regulations, including due diligence and 3rd party Risk assessments.
- Maintain the company's risk register.
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk mitigation plans and controls.
- Utilize data analysis and tools to identify and assess risks and their impact across the organization.
- Assist management in evaluating risks associated with current and future business activities (new products, relationships, operational expansions).
- Support the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Operational Resilience Risk framework aligned with regulations and business strategy.
- Aid in the identification and management of ICT risks, ensuring robust cyber defenses meet evolving threats and regulations.
- Contribute to the enhancement of enterprise risk frameworks such as incident, crisis, and disaster recovery, and wind-down planning.
- Take on additional responsibilities as delegated by the Senior Risk Manager.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Security) to champion Operational Risk & Resilience, drive standards, and facilitate remediation.
- Support external communications, reporting, and presentations to regulators.
- Promote and nurture a culture of risk and resilience awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
You’ll report to our Senior Risk Manager.
Here’s what we’d love from our new Risk Manager:
- Minimum 1 year of risk management experience in the financial sector.
- Solid grasp of digital product offerings and associated risks (compliance, fraud, settlement, operations, financial, etc.).
- Exposure to operational resilience or ICT risk management within Financial Services.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, its specific risks, and relevant regulations (e.g., DORA, FCA Operational Resilience Guidelines).
- Proven ability to develop risk management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Understanding of ICT risk categories and mitigation approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex risks to various stakeholders.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish ambitious yet achievable goals and drive the organization toward enhanced performance with tenacity and accountability.
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 2500 EUR to 3333 EUR gross, depending on experience.
