Your team & impact
Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping how money is sent worldwide. You will work in a team of bright-minded individuals looking after integrating with 3rd-party providers to build complex banking solutions quickly. Most of it is to enable other teams to build on top, exposing functionality to our customers.. If you want to significantly impact the fintech industry, drive technological advancements, and collaborate with a team of forward-thinkers, we would love to have you on board.
Here’s what you’ll be doing as Backend Engineer:
- Design, build and operate services in a cloud-native, service-oriented environment, which will be used by multi-platform applications and hundreds of thousands of users
- Enjoy a great level of end-to-end autonomy, contributing to system design, implementation approach and production operations of your services — we truly believe in the “Builder’s mindset”
- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to build modern and scalable software
- Develop backend features using .NET and PHP
- Review Pull Requests
- Be on rotation for production duty (during working hours)
- Investigate how certain features should be implemented from a technical perspective
- Align with other engineers to ensure smooth collaboration across teams
You’ll report to our Engineering Manager | Core Banking.
Here’s what we’d love from our new Backend Engineer:
- .NET Core
- C#
- Writing unit tests
- Working with source control tools
And if you can also do this stuff, even better:
- Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins
- Data: MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, S3
- Test: xUnit, Moq, AutoFixture, FluentAssertions
- PHP
