Director of Acquisition

Vilnius, Lithuania

TransferGo is a growing fintech scale-up on a mission to champion financial freedom with care. We strive to provide tailored, more affordable financial services that make people's hard-earned money go further. Now in our 14th year, with close to 400 employees in offices across Europe and the UK, we’re crafting a brilliant, relevant product that makes a difference in people's lives and the well-being of their families.

We’ve come this far by building a talented, diverse workforce on a fair culture and our strong values. Having this strong team of employees, we can serve those who really need our product to make their lives better.

Why TransferGo

We exist for people in between places — migrants, expats, students, returning families, seasonal professionals — people building a life abroad while continuing to support life back home.

For over a decade, TransferGo has built financial products for that reality: cross-border transfers, multi-currency accounts, card products, newcomer banking, and a growing B2B offering across 16+ markets and millions of international transfers. Today, we’re evolving beyond remittance into a broader financial platform built around how our customers actually live: across borders, currencies and communities.

Our core growth markets today span Ukrainian and Turkish diaspora corridors, CEE, CIS and other international communities — each with very different customer behaviours, economics and growth challenges.

We’re entering the next phase of growth: scaling acquisition, expanding into new product areas, and building faster, smarter ways of operating across Growth.

What you’ll own

You’ll own customer acquisition end-to-end, reporting directly to the CGO and leading senior operators across paid media, SEO, influencer and affiliate, organic growth, and regional growth ownership across priority corridors.

This is a hands-on commercial leadership role with direct impact on growth strategy, market expansion and unit economics.

You’ll be accountable for:

  • Acquisition strategy across paid digital (Meta, Google, ASA, TikTok, programmatic), SEO, partnerships and organic growth
  • Budget allocation and channel mix decisions across markets and corridors
  • MER and LTV:CAC efficiency as core commercial metrics
  • Experimentation culture: structured testing, creative iteration, rapid learning cycles and scaling decisions grounded in data
  • Attribution and measurement in an app-heavy, multi-market environment
  • Scaling growth across diaspora-driven and international markets with different customer behaviours, economics and competitive dynamics
  • Building smarter operational workflows across creative production, testing and acquisition execution using AI where it genuinely improves speed or quality
  • Cross-functional partnership with CRM, Brand, Product, Pricing and Data
  • Leading and developing senior growth operators and regional growth leads

What success looks like

  • Acquisition becomes faster, sharper and more commercially disciplined across core markets
  • Paid performance and experimentation velocity improve meaningfully
  • New growth opportunities move from idea to validated channel faster
  • The team operates with stronger ownership, prioritisation and decision-making grounded in data and economics

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years leading acquisition or growth in fintech, neobank, remittance, marketplace or high-scale B2C environments
  • Experience scaling paid acquisition across multiple international markets
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, attribution, cohort behaviour and growth measurement
  • Experience leading senior teams and cross-functional growth initiatives
  • Strong experimentation mindset: testing frameworks, scaling logic, kill criteria
  • Comfortable operating in high-complexity, high-autonomy environments
  • Practical understanding of how AI can improve growth execution, workflows and operational leverage
  • Strong collaboration skills across Product, CRM, Brand, Pricing and Data functions

Bonus

  • Direct remittance, fintech or neobank experience
  • Experience operating across diaspora or migration-driven markets
  • Multi-language or multi-region growth experience
  • Strong relationships with major paid acquisition platforms

Why this role is exciting

This is not a channel management role. You’ll work on some of the hardest acquisition problems in fintech: cross-border customer behaviour, localisation at scale, multi-market economics, app attribution, and growth across diaspora corridors with very different user motivations and market dynamics.

You’ll have real ownership, direct influence on growth strategy, and the space to build — while staying close enough to execution to move fast and see the impact of your decisions.

If you’re looking for a role where acquisition sits at the centre of business growth — not on the sidelines — this is that kind of opportunity.

What we offer

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
