Relationship Manager, Venture

Position Overview
As we define our course into the future, we are looking for an experienced travel industry professional who has worked closely with or as a travel advisor. The Relationship Manager, Venture will report to the Director of Advisor Services within our Leisure division and will be responsible for the day-to-day support of our growing network of venture advisors across North America.
This role will also play a critical part in the development and success of our Venture Advisors, providing structured learning and mentorship over the course of 12 months to help them establish and grow their businesses.
We will empower you with the tools, support teams, access to the best contracts, industry relationships, and resources to enable you to maximize the potential of all advisors.
In travel, no two days are the same, so we are seeking someone who is comfortable troubleshooting an escalation, guiding an advisor through a complex booking, or celebrating a first big sale. Travel Edge is ready to embark on this new world of travel, and we are looking for an inspiring travel professional to join us in shaping the next generation of luxury advisors.
Responsibilities
Advisor Support & Relationship Management
- Inspire and lead a team of Independent Contractors (ICs) across North America.
- Coach and develop advisors’ behaviors related to revenue growth, yield management, and customer experience.
- Act as an advocate for Travel Edge’s booking platform, ADX.
- Serve as an escalation point of contact for advisor or client issues requiring additional support.
- Act as a knowledge expert for Canadian and U.S. travel insurance matters.
- Work one-on-one with advisors to help them develop their business models and enhance their value to their customers.
- Leverage Travel Edge’s tools, support teams, and relationships to further develop the value proposition for advisors.
- Deliver on company strategies, goals, KPIs, and operational objectives.
- Examine financial data and reports to identify opportunities for increased profitability.
- Lead and support the continued development of the advisor support network.
- Present progress reports and offer solutions to challenges faced by advisors.
Venture Advisor Learning & Development (L&D)
- Help design and implement a 12-month structured learning program for new travel advisors (Venture Advisors) to accelerate their success.
- Onboard and mentor new advisors, ensuring they gain confidence in travel booking, supplier relationships, and luxury client servicing.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, webinars and one-on-one coaching on essential travel industry knowledge, sales techniques, and business development.
- Work closely with key industry partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure new advisors have access to the best training and resources.
- Track Venture Advisors’ progress, performance, and development over their first year, providing regular check-ins and goal-setting sessions.
- Create a mentorship structure, pairing new advisors with experienced advisors for knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Actively assess knowledge gaps and adjust the learning curriculum as needed to ensure success.
- Develop continuous learning opportunities beyond the first year to support long-term advisor success.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years industry experience in luxury leisure travel.
- 2-3 years of proven leadership experience in a management capacity within leisure travel.
- Experience in advisor training, learning & development, or mentorship is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of leisure travel management economics.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. Travel Insurance and regulatory requirements (e.g., TICO).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in ADX, Sabre, ClientBase, and other booking tools.
- Solid analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
