Senior Manager, Events

The Senior Manager, Events will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, proposing, implementing and executing Travel Edge events. These events are revenue growth generated through our network.
This is a hybrid role with 40% of your time dedicated to concepting, planning/logistics, budget management, managing partners, speakers, driving interest, attendees/engagement and 60% of your time you will be focused on implementing and executing the events with the support of the marketing team. The abilities to multitask and prioritize are essential, as this role manages all event details for both in-person and virtual events. Key Responsibilities
As Event Manager, you’ll lead the planning, execution, and innovation of standout events that connect, engage, and inspire. Your responsibilities include:
- Program Design: Curate a compelling annual event calendar with engaging themes, content, and formats that resonate across audiences.
- Event Execution: Plan and deliver both virtual and in-person events that drive attendance, engagement, and brand impact – targeting advisors, partners, and media.
- Project & Budget Management: Utilize project management tools to own timelines and budgets to keep initiatives on track, on brand, and on budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, internal teams, vendors, and contractors to align on goals and execute seamlessly.
- Creative Oversight: Manage all creative deliverables – from invites and signage to video content – ensuring a consistent, high-quality brand experience.
- Communications Management: Oversee the event communication plan and approvals, with hands-on writing and design when needed.
- Social Media Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media is embedded throughout the event lifecycle – from pre-promotion and live coverage to post-event recaps – helping amplify visibility and drive engagement across platforms.
- Partnership & FAM Trip Support: Support the coordination of partner familiarization trips and top-performer trips in collaboration with the Partnership Marketing and Engagement Management teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with partners, sponsors, and attendees to align event strategy with business goals.
- Innovation & Industry Insight: Collaborate on introducing new features and experiences while staying on top of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure every event touchpoint reflects the company’s image and tone.
- Team Player: Pitch in where needed and adapt to evolving priorities with a solution-focused mindset.
This requires an extremely talented and flexible individual who has a roll up their sleeves attitude and is comfortable with a hands-on position. They have the ability to relate and build successful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, use creative marketing and analytics to influence, and are a champion of creating the “advisor experience” within events.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in event management, with a strong background in both in-person and virtual formats.
- Proficient in event tech platforms (CVENT/Big Marketer preferred) and 1:1 digital networking tools.
- Proven track record in marketing strategy, communications, and project management.
- Experience in luxury events with a strong creative eye and attention to brand detail.
- Skilled in relationship building, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and editorial – with adaptability across formats.
- Confident leader with the ability to guide teams toward shared goals.
- Solid understanding of marketing trends, social media, and event industry innovation.
- Travel/hospitality industry experience is a plus; must be open to travel as required for events.
- Excellent organizational, budgeting, and time management skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
