Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. You’ll be a great fit if you’re curious, eager to learn (a lot), and enjoy being challenged. With strong communication skills and a hands-on mindset, you’ll thrive in our fast-paced environment. This internship is an excellent opportunity for those who want to dive into the travel industry while building expertise in e-commerce and digital growth.

What you’ll work on

As a Digital Marketing Intern at Travix, you’ll be part of the engine that shapes how travelers discover and book their journeys online. This is not just about tasks, but about gaining real-world exposure to the travel industry and the dynamics of digital growth. You will:

  • Support CRM and SEO management and strategy, ensuring consistency across our blog, website and newsletters in collaboration with the CRM and SEO Managers, ensuring a timely delivery of needed assets, such as (newsletter) copy, visuals, campaigns.
  • Upload and format content on the company blog and website into the internal CMS, ensuring SEO best practices are followed (you will receive training).
  • Work with the channel owners in SEO, CRM, Paid Search and Affiliate Marketing and exchange learnings and best practices
  • Work alongside the Partnerships team, experiencing how we collaborate with airlines, tourism boards, and global partners to inspire travelers and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Dive into performance tracking and reporting, turning numbers into stories that guide decision-making.
  • Bring in your creativity and curiosity by contributing fresh ideas and helping shape the way millions of people experience travel online.
  • Keep an eye on AI trends and explore ways to optimize our workstreams by leveraging new technology.

What you’ll bring in

To thrive in this role, you bring curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn. You don’t need years of experience, but you should be ready to take ownership and grow fast. We’re looking for:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the confidence to take initiative.
  • Analytical thinking — you enjoy working with data and spotting patterns.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail, especially when it comes to content and customer experience.
  • Interest in Marketing and the travel industry, with motivation to learn how global online businesses grow.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides; experience with CMS, ESP or analytics tools is a plus.
  • Curiosity about AI and new technologies, and an eagerness to explore how they can improve processes.
  • Familiarity with SEO techniques and CRM is a plus.
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master study program for the full-period of the internship and available to travel 2/3 times a week to our office in Bijlmer.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch or German is a strong plus.
