SUMMARY - GENERAL MANAGER

We are seeking a General Manager who can lead from the front, take full ownership of daily operations, and drive consistent execution across all areas of the business. This role is responsible for the performance of a high-volume, multi-faceted location, requiring a hands-on leader who can quickly understand our systems, make sound decisions in real time, and ensure every detail contributes to the overall success of the brewery. The ideal candidate holds a high bar for execution and leads teams with clarity, accountability, and urgency.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring flexibility and occasional travel between locations. The General Manager is expected to lead during peak and high-impact periods, including nights, weekends, holidays, and major events.

Management & Leadership Expectations: Strive not just for accountability, but for true ownership of your location.

  • Maintain a strong command of the operation, understanding the business at every level and balancing immediate needs with long-term performance
  • Own and deliver the full P&L performance of the Tewksbury location, driving revenue, controlling costs, and consistently meeting or exceeding financial and operational targets
  • Build and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, holding leaders accountable, addressing underperformance directly, and making decisive talent decisions. Develop leaders who can execute independently, ensuring the management team is capable, accountable, and aligned
  • Enforce operational discipline across all areas of the business, ensuring execution, cleanliness, product quality, and guest experience consistently meet company standards
  • Maintain strong floor presence and leadership visibility, setting the tone for urgency, accountability, and execution across daily operations, events, and initiatives
  • Build and sustain a results-driven culture where expectations are clear, feedback is direct, and teams are continuously improving
  • Communicate with clarity and authority, ensuring alignment, eliminating ambiguity, and driving follow-through across the organization

Non-Negotiables / Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hospitality or retail General Manager experience in a multi-unit establishment
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver results autonomously in a high-volume, complex hospitality environment, including managing managers and owning performance outcomes
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with a track record of controlling costs, driving efficiency, and consistently hitting targets
  • Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term operational sustainability, ensuring that location goals are achieved to support company growth
  • Strong commitment to the guest experience, upholding and reinforcing company standards consistently
  • Ability to operate under pressure, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and accountability, with the ability to influence at all levels and hold teams to a high standard
  • High level of ownership, integrity, and attention to detail, with the ability to execute autonomously
  • Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including extended periods of walking and standing, engaging with guests and team members, and maintaining a consistent on-site leadership presence in a high-energy environment
