Litigation Associate Attorney
Role Description
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our Los Angeles, California office. Our dynamic Litigation Practice Groups is known for their comprehensive approach to managing a wide range of complex defense litigation involving personal injury, wrongful death, premises, products liability and transportation.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys and clients on the defense of personal injury litigation.
This position is hybrid in our Los Angeles, California office in El Segundo.
What You’ll Do:
- Defend clients in civil litigation matters involving personal injury, property damage, construction, transportation, and product liability claims in state and federal courts.
- Draft pleadings, written discovery, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, settlement conferences, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, oral arguments, mediations, and binding arbitration proceedings both remotely and in person.
- Communicate directly with clients, claim adjusters, experts, and witnesses to provide case updates and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience in either state or federal court.
- Active California bar admission required in good standing.
- Experience with trial preparation.
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting with partners, associates, paralegals, and law clerks.
- Strong oral advocacy, deposition, case management, and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and litigation teams.

Salary commensurate with experience:
$140,000 - $170,000 USD
