Senior Tanium Administrator

Triangle Cyber is seeking a skilled Tanium Administrator/Cybersecurity Engineer for a US Federal Government contract engagement to support cybersecurity and IT asset lifecycle management strategies across a large-scale enterprise environment. The Tanium Administrator/Cybersecurity Engineer will directly contribute to protecting digital networks, connected assets, hosted applications, and data, while supporting business, financial, and operational activities. The Tanium Administrator/Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for the infrastructure, application, and user administration of a large-scale Tanium environment, which includes over 100,000 heterogeneous end-user and server systems.

"Must Have" Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen (this position is for a Federal Government customer)
• Must have 8+ years in IT security within large enterprise environments
• Must have a degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field (computer science, information systems, etc.). If the candidate’s degree is not in a relevant technical field, then four additional years of related experience are required (12 years total experience).   
• Candidates must also have documented enterprise-based experience as a Tanium Administrator, and one or more Tanium certifications:
  • Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) (preferred)
  • Tanium Certified Operator (TCO)
  • Tanium Certified Specialist – Cloud Deployment (TCSCD)
  • Tanium Certified Professional – Endpoint Management (TCPEM)
  • Tanium Certified Professional – Endpoint Risk and Security (TCPRS)
• Must have hands-on experience supporting IT operations and security efforts, including:
  • Windows and Linux OS patching
  • Application maintenance
  • Vulnerability management
  • Security event and incident investigation
  • Network infrastructure

Desired Qualifications

• Proficiency in Splunk (including knowledge object development)
• Experience with Armis Centrix
• Windows and Linux system administration
• Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and business process improvement

• Strong oral and written communication
