Trilliad’s full-service solutions deliver competitive advantage for the brands it works with by optimizing their sales and marketing strategies, processes, skills, and technology. At Trilliad, culture is our backbone. It shapes how we think, behave, and treat one another, and it defines how our clients, partners, and communities experience us. Every company has a culture, and at Trilliad, we make ours intentional—anchored in our Leadership Principles. These principles guide every decision and interaction: putting the company first, obsessing over growth, remembering that business is personal, and ensuring strategy turns into execution. We succeed by being one team, striving for greatness, speaking the truth, and holding ourselves accountable. We lighten up with humor, stay patient and disciplined, run towards problems, celebrate results, and never accept confusion as an option. This is the culture you step into at Trilliad—purposeful, lived, and continually developed.
What you will do
You are accountable for the creative quality and in-market performance of the visual work Trilliad produces for Marketing-as-a-Service clients. You translate strategy, messaging, and narrative into visual systems that earn attention and move people to act, owning the idea rather than only its execution. This is not a production role: you bring a point of view about how a campaign should look, feel, and behave, and you make the case for it in reasoning a strategist and a client can follow. You own the work end to end, from concept through to files that are ready to run, built to clear approval, and designed for the real constraints of the channels they live in.
Which means that on a day-to-day basis, you will:
Creative Direction and Concepting
- Offer creative direction for campaigns and digital experiences across assigned client engagements
- Design creative concepts for ads, landing pages, social, email, and campaign assets that begin from the strategy rather than the format
- Shape visual narrative and layout around copy flow so that clarity and momentum survive contact with the page
- Recommend creative approaches to strategists and client teams, making the case for an idea rather than presenting options without a view
Digital Asset Design and Production
- Design production-ready digital assets including landing pages, emails, ebooks, sell sheets, ads, and social content
- Design light-motion and dynamic elements such as simple animations, social loops, and micro-interactions
- Drive consistency of visual system, typography, and brand expression across every asset in a campaign
- Lead work from concept through to delivery of files built to run correctly in the channels they are destined for
Build, Implementation, and Technical Craft
- Design and build landing pages using templates or modular components in WordPress or HubSpot
- Shape design intent through direct HTML and CSS adjustment in emails and landing pages so that what ships matches what was designed
- Guide developers through design-to-build translation on complex builds, owning simpler executions end to end
- Recommend design decisions that account for approval requirements, delivery specifications, and platform constraints before they become rework
Performance, Iteration, and Improvement
- Drive iteration on creative in response to performance data, client feedback, and delivery timelines
- Recommend creative change where performance indicates the current approach is not working, rather than defending the original execution
- Shape the reusable components, templates, and patterns that make future campaigns faster to produce without becoming generic
How you’ll do it
Because how we do things matters just as much as what we do at Trilliad, our Leadership Principles should act as a compass directing the everyday behavior of every teammate across the organization:
|
Growth Obsessed. For our business, our clients, and our Selves. |
Create Client Value. Become irreplaceable |
|
|
|
Business is Personal. Cultivate relationships. Make space for connection. Care about each other. |
Tighten-Up. Focus, discipline, and rigor count. |
|
|
|
Lighten-Up. Humor and laughter deepen bonds. |
|
|
|
|
Strategy Without Execution Is Just Dreaming. Hope is not a strategy. Vision matters—so does execution. |
You Have the Ball. Be accountable. Take action. Go the distance. |
|
|
|
Be One Team. No lone wolves. Have each other’s back and help each other out. |
Run Towards Problems. Symptoms signal deeper causes. Find the root. |
|
|
|
Raise The Bar. Good is the enemy of great. Better never stops—be a Difference-Maker! |
Have the Hard Conversation. Be direct and empathetic. Speak the truth, kindly. Feedback is a gift. |
|
|
|
Confusion Is a Choice. Stay curious—Seek to understand. Share context—seek to be understood. |
Celebrate Results. Make recognition a habit. Shine a light on what’s working, big or small. |
|
|
|
The Journey Matters. Meaningful work takes time. Be patient. Think: the next 90 days and the next 10 years. |
Think “We” not “Me.” Prioritize what’s best for the business, the team, and the journey. |
|
|

The following domain-specific Skills, Knowledge, and Experience are additionally required in order for you to be great in this role.
Domain-specific skills
- Visual design and typographic craft — You are answerable for how the work looks, which at this level means composition, type, color, and hierarchy decisions that hold up across every format rather than only in the deck where they were presented
- Creative concepting from strategy — You generate the idea and not only the artwork, which requires you to start from the client’s objective and the strategist’s thinking rather than from a reference you admired
- Visual storytelling and narrative construction — You shape how a message unfolds across a page, a sequence, or a campaign so that a reader arrives at the point rather than simply being told it
- Adobe Creative Suite and Figma — You work daily in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma, and must be fluent enough that tooling never becomes the limit on the idea
- Motion and dynamic content design — You produce simple animations, social loops, and micro-interactions, because static assets alone no longer hold attention in the channels these campaigns run in
- Front-end craft in HTML and CSS — You make direct adjustments in email and landing page code so that design intent survives implementation rather than degrading in handoff
- CMS page building in WordPress and HubSpot — You assemble landing pages from templates and modular components, which requires you to design within the system’s real constraints instead of around them
- Conversion-focused digital design — You design assets whose job is to produce a click, a form completion, or a meeting, and must make creative choices that serve that outcome even when a more beautiful option exists
- Creative feedback and iteration — You absorb input from clients, strategists, and performance data without losing the integrity of the idea, and must judge which changes to accept and which to argue
Domain-Specific Knowledge
- Digital-first design principles and conversion-focused UX patterns — You must know the patterns that reliably move people through a page so that your layouts serve performance rather than aesthetics alone
- Layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy — You need command of the fundamentals because at this level your judgment sets the standard that others work to
- Digital advertising specifications and platform guidelines — You must understand what each channel will accept and how creative decisions affect approval, delivery, and performance, so that work does not fail at the point of trafficking
- CMS architecture and design implementation — You need to understand how designs are built in WordPress, HubSpot, and comparable environments so that what you design can actually be made
- Email design and rendering constraints — You must know how email clients render layout and code so that assets behave predictably across the inboxes they land in
- Accessibility and responsive design standards — You need to understand contrast, structure, and adaptive layout requirements so that the work is usable across devices and abilities rather than only on your own screen
- B2B marketing and campaign structure — You must understand how B2B campaigns are constructed and what they are built to achieve so that your creative decisions are commercially grounded
- Brand and design system governance — You need to know how brand and component systems are built and maintained so that consistency scales without every asset requiring your personal involvement
Domain-specific experience
- 4+ years in digital design, art direction, or a comparable creative role, including ownership of campaign-level creative rather than individual assets alone
- A portfolio demonstrating original creative direction and visual thinking in a B2B context, including work you conceived rather than executed to another’s direction
- Experience designing and delivering integrated digital campaigns spanning landing pages, email, paid social, and display
- Experience creating light-motion or dynamic digital content such as social video, simple animations, or looping graphics
- Experience building landing pages using CMS templates or modular components in WordPress, HubSpot, or comparable platforms
- Experience making direct HTML and CSS adjustments within email or landing page builds
- Experience working from rough or unfinished copy and shaping it visually in partnership with writers and strategists
- Experience collaborating with developers on design-to-build translation for complex implementations
- Experience in an agency, in-house marketing team, or client services environment carrying concurrent client deadlines
