NYC Part Time Driver - EVOC Required

Work Location: Must reside within 45 minutes of Teterboro Airport: 485 Industrial Ave, 3rd Floor, Teterboro, NJ 07608
Schedule: Part-Time, minimum 2 days per week, including one weekend day. On-call availability required.

• Compensation: Competitive pay, $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities of an On-Call Driver 

• Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment 
• Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service 
• Adhere to all traffic laws and TAM operational procedures
• Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks 
• Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes
• Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision 

Qualifications & Skills of an On-Call Driver 

• High School Diploma/GED required 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 39-month driving record 
• EVOC Certification required 
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills 
• Experience in medical transport, logistics, or professional driving a plus 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods 
• Reliable cell phone access and availability for on-call shifts
