Work Location: Chandler, AZ 

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm (on-site)

Compensation: $56,000-$76,000 annual salary

Travel: Minimal (<5%)

Key responsibilities of a Staff Accountant I

• ^{Assist with accounts receivable processes, including reconciliation and tracking}

• ^{Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures}

• ^{Maintain organized and accurate financial records, documentation, and audit trails}

• ^{Help prepare financial reports and assist with internal and external audits}

• ^{Support departmental budgeting efforts and related reporting}

• ^{Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks}

• ^{Assist with special projects and contribute to process improvements}

• ^{Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and internal controls}

Qualifications & Skills of a Staff Accountant I

• ^{3+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience}

• ^{Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)}

• ^{Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)}

• ^{Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications}

• ^{High attention to detail with strong organizational skills}

• ^{Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines}

• ^{Excellent communication and interpersonal skills}

• ^{Self-starter with strong work ethic and eagerness to learn}

• ^{Degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required}

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in a corporate or small-business accounting environment

• Familiarity with ERP systems or advanced accounting platforms

• Prior experience supporting audits or financial reporting
