Work Location: Chandler, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm (on-site)
Compensation: $56,000-$76,000 annual salary
Travel: Minimal (<5%)

Key responsibilities of a Staff Accountant I
-
Assist with accounts receivable processes, including reconciliation and tracking

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
-
Maintain organized and accurate financial records, documentation, and audit trails

Help prepare financial reports and assist with internal and external audits

Support departmental budgeting efforts and related reporting
-
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks

Assist with special projects and contribute to process improvements
-
Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and internal controls
Qualifications & Skills of a Staff Accountant I
-
3+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
-
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)

Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)

Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-starter with strong work ethic and eagerness to learn

Degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required

Experience in a corporate or small-business accounting environment

Familiarity with ERP systems or advanced accounting platforms

Prior experience supporting audits or financial reporting
